“Small charities and community groups are facing a perfect storm… loss of public trust, loss of income and a greater demand on their services. There has never been a greater need to draw out the entrepreneurial and leadership skills of those individuals who are currently running these wonderful organisations”
Why sponsor us
We are passionate about “enterprise” seeing it as a mechanism to enable mature unemployed individuals gain some economic freedom, a second career or an opportunity to “give back”.
We see that entrepreneurial activity is a missing ingredient in many small charities and community funded groups and that this is a way to both help ensure their financial longevity and to raise skill levels in that sector.
You can sponsor us to help make a positive impact on society and the local and wider economy.
We make your money count
92p out of every pound is spent directly on developing and delivering services for mature people.
Your grants and donations can make a significant difference
£5,000 provides 10 “Will it work?” grants to test a business idea. This enables older entrepreneurs to buy things like business stationery, websites, marketing materials that will allow them to make their first steps into business.
£3,500 sends 12 budding entrepreneurs on a four-module award winning “Business Basics” workshop.
£25,000 pays for a area coordinator for 1 year to run the workshops, training programme and mentoring programme in a specific area e.g. North West. It also helps them to build links with local businesses and organisations to embed the project in the local communities and increase sustainability long-term in the area.
£3,000 for sponsorship of the website (and maintenance) for 12 months.
£1,800 funds an Information and Inspiration Networking Event in a central location. Supporting startups share their challenges, successes and continue to grow.
We would be delighted to chat further about sponsorship and how it might work best for your organisation.
